When I used to think of kitchen tweezers, I had an image in my head of chefs meticulously assembling elements of some fancy dish, like putting the final piece of cilantro atop a deconstructed guacamole that is actually a foam — a world away from my own routine of slapping together tween lunches. But when some of these tweezers found their way into my everyday life, I discovered they filled a hole in my utensil drawer I didn’t even know was there.

The tweezers I’m talking about are stainless steel and a foot long. They look exactly like classic tweezers in your medicine cabinet, just blown up to comical proportions. And although they’re mostly associated with high-end chefs and tasting menus, there is really nothing fancy about them. They’re a modest tool with a modest price (you can get two of them for $10), but they punch way above their weight. These tweezers are all-purpose grabbers I have been using daily for a multitude of very common tasks that in the past were just a smidge annoying, gumming up an otherwise joyful kitchen experience.
