The Russian military attacked the city of Balakliia in Ukraine’s Kharkiv Region, injuring two people while rescuers saved a woman from a damaged residential building.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service (DSNS) in Kharkiv Region reported the attack on Facebook.
"A missile struck near a two-story residential building, causing structural damage and a fire in a first-floor apartment. Rescuers evacuated a woman from the damaged building," the DSNS said.
At another location, emergency officials reported a strike on an open area.
"Grass caught fire. Residential buildings, commercial properties, and vehicles were damaged. All fires have been extinguished," the agency said.
