H&M has joined forces with New York-based luxury label Wardrobe.NYC for its latest designer collaboration, bringing the brand’s signature minimalist style to a broader audience. Founded by editor and stylist Christine Centenera and designer Josh Goot, Wardrobe.NYC is recognised for its refined approach to modern wardrobe essentials.Launching August 6, the collection captures the brand’s decade-long focus on creating a carefully curated capsule wardrobe, featuring timeless pieces designed to be worn together in countless combinations. Built around versatile staples, the range makes it easy to create polished, elevated looks with minimal effort.Drawing from the Wardrobe.NYC archive, the collection focuses on elevated urban essentials, featuring sharp tailoring and a muted, versatile colour palette. Key pieces include wool coats, structured blazers and tailored skirts, alongside more casual staples such as washed denim and hoodies for a relaxed edge. The collaboration will not be trend-focused; instead, the line will be made up of timeless pieces that Centenera says she hopes will become “staples.” Echoing her, Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor and head of design women’s wear at H&M, told trade publication Drapers that the collection will consist of “pieces that will be in your wardrobe for a long time.”With the launch less than a week away, here’s everything you need to know about shopping the new collection.Read more: Charlotte Tilbury reveals the product she recommends for mature skinWhere can you shop the collection? The collection will be available to shop online at hm.com and in selected H&M stores worldwide.
