On August 4, a large-scale emergency power outage occurred in the Sumy region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
The Sumy City Council reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"We are experiencing a large-scale emergency power outage in part of the Sumy region. ️The cause is armed aggression by the Russian Federation. We are working to restore power distribution!" the message reads.

Earlier it was reported that two children and an elderly woman were killed in Sumy by Russian guided bombs last night.
