Chennai based DVS Advisory Group on Tuesday announced signing of an exclusive strategic alliance with US based Whitman Advisory, DVS is a global professional and business services platform evolving into a Fin-tech Ecosystem while Whitman Advisory is the largest consulting firm of its kind serving the U.S. CPA profession. The firm specializes in accounting firm mergers, acquisitions, succession planning“The alliance supports DVS Advisory Group’s long-term vision of building a globally integrated professional and business services platform by pursuing the U.S. accounting firms representing more than $250 million in aggregate revenues over the next 30 months, backed by a planned investment commitment of up to $500 million over the next five years, in India and the US,” a statement by Chennai based firm said.According to Divakar Vijayasarathy, Founder & CEO of DVS Advisory Group, beyond building a global enterprise, “We believe this initiative can create meaningful economic impact by generating more than 2,000 high-paying jobs in India, facilitating access to India for more than 25,000 American businesses, and helping catalyse over $5 billion of investment into India.” Further he said that the accounting profession is one of the world’s most trusted and strategically important industries, yet it has historically lacked access to the institutional capital and globally integrated platforms that have transformed many other sectors.“We believe the future of accounting lies in enabling firms to preserve their independence and entrepreneurial legacy while giving them seamless access to global markets, broader capabilities, and long-term growth opportunities,” he said.
