The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is set to introduce a unified mobile application and transition to a paperless administrative system as part of an ambitious five-year development agenda aimed at strengthening transparency, improving service delivery and positioning the examination body as Africa’s most trusted admissions institution by 2031.
The reforms, unveiled by Segun Aina, the newly appointed registrar of JAMB, form part of the board’s 2026–2031 strategic plan titled “JAMB 2031: Building Trust, Reducing Trauma.” The agenda seeks to consolidate the gains recorded under Ishaq Oloyede, the immediate past registrar, while accelerating digital transformation across the organisation.
