The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received 37 Nigerian nationals repatriated from the Republic of Türkiye, as the Federal Government intensified efforts to facilitate the safe return and reintegration of distressed citizens stranded abroad.
The returnees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, aboard a chartered aircraft, according to a statement issued by the agency on Monday.

According to the agency, its Abuja Operations Office immediately activated a coordinated reception mechanism involving relevant government agencies and humanitarian partners to guarantee a seamless, humane and dignified reception for the returnees.
