The Senate Committee on Public Accounts on Monday expressed strong displeasure over the failure of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) and several other government agencies to honour its invitations over unresolved audit queries, issuing a fresh and final 72-hour ultimatum for their appearance.

The Chairman of the committee, Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, said the invitations were issued as part of the panel's efforts to discharge its constitutional mandate and clear pending audit issues.
