March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma says the movement has no plans of turning into a political party.
Anti-illegal-immigration movement March and March says it has no plans to become a political party, announcing instead that it wants to establish itself as "an AfriForum for black South Africans" through a new legal advocacy forum and humanitarian foundation.
Speaking during a media briefing in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday evening, March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma said there was growing public pressure for the movement to enter politics.
But she believed it could better serve South Africans as an independent civic organisation.
"I think there's a lot of pressure from people. I see people saying that they don't want to be in a democracy, which is something that is just being thrown around," she said.
