Air raid sirens sounded in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine in the early hours of Tuesday, as authorities warned of approaching Russian attack drones. The Kyiv City Military Administration said the alert in the capital was triggered by the threat of enemy UAVs and urged residents to immediately take shelter.JOIN US ON TELEGRAMFollow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official. “Residents are urged to proceed immediately to the nearest shelters and remain there until the all-clear,” the administration said on Telegram. Alerts were also active across several neighboring and eastern regions as Russian drones moved through Ukrainian airspace. There were no immediate reports of strikes or casualties in Kyiv at the time of publication. The midnight drone barrage follows a broader pattern of escalating Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure. In recent weeks, Moscow has intensified its use of loitering munitions and missile strikes against urban centers far from the front line, killing civilians and disrupting critical energy and logistics networks across the country.
