The Oyo State judicial commission of inquiry investigating the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Esinele and Yawota communities in Oriire Local Government Area has called on members of the public with useful information to submit memoranda to aid its investigation.

The commission, inaugurated by Governor Seyi Makinde on July 31, 2026, said it was seeking facts, evidence and other relevant materials on the circumstances surrounding the abduction.
