In July alone, the Russian military carried out 67 attacks on Ukraine’s seaport facilities, and five more since the start of August. Civilian vessels in ports and ships in Ukraine’s maritime corridor have also been targeted.
The Ministry for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport reported the figures on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“In July, 67 attacks were recorded on seaport facilities, 35 on civilian vessels in ports, and 22 on ships in Ukraine’s maritime corridor,” the ministry said.
According to the ministry, the intensity of strikes on Ukraine’s port infrastructure continues to grow. In just the first days of August, Russia launched five attacks on seaport facilities, three on civilian vessels in ports, and two on ships in the maritime corridor.
