A new mystery was sparked after a sinister scene saw Ross terrifying Cassie, after she threatened to go to the police about him.‌Her plan to get rid of him backfired, and left her rejected by her loved ones. Steve McDonald ended their romance, and Ross and Cassie's son Tyrone Dobbs kicked her out.‌Cassie had tried to drug Ross only for him to find out and drug Tracy instead. No one believes Cassie that Ross had put more pills in the drink, and Cassie decided her only option was to leave Weatherfield.On Monday we saw her wanting to meet Steve one final time, but he was too late. Ross practically harassed Cassie to get in his car, with him offering her a lift.‌Soon they sped off, and we later saw them chatting while parked up. Ross admitted to Cassie he had set her up, and had been the one who drugged Tracy.She threatened to go to the police, and Ross turned nasty with her. Screaming at her and making her scared, he told her they would be going on a little drive.After that we didn't see Cassie again, and Ross returned home and acted like nothing had happened. We saw him holding the photograph that Fiz and the kids had given to Cassie to keep.‌So what has Ross done with Cassie, and has he killed her? But something actress Claire Sweeney shared may confirm Cassie's fate.‌The actress, who has quit the role after three years, confirmed this was an exit for her character. That said, she would love to return in the future.Not only that but Cassie confirmed, as have Corrie, that the door has been left open for her to come back at some point. Cassie star Claire was also asked about Cassie's fate, to which she initially hinted that there could be danger.She said it had been left for viewers to decide what had happened.
