Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Notre Dame and USC will renew their football rivalry with a four-game series, starting in 2030, the schools announced Monday.
The Fighting Irish and Trojans met 96 times since the storied series started in 1926. Notre Dame has a 53-38-5 record in the series, which includes three vacated results. It also won seven of the last eight meetings, including the last three.
The Irish Beat the Trojans 34-24 on Oct. 18 in Notre Dame, Ind. Their next matchup will be in Week 1 -- on Aug. 31, 2030 -- in Los Angeles. The Trojans will face the Irish in another Week 1 meeting Aug. 30, 2031 at Notre Dame.
Additional 2032 (in Los Angeles) and 2033 (at Notre Dame) meetings will be heldwithin the first three weeks of those seasons.
