Springboks forwards coach Deon Davids says they want the returning players to empty the tank against Argentina on Saturday evening in Buenos Aires.

The Springboks want their returning stars to “play as hard as they can for as long as they can” when they make their comeback against Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday evening.

Captain Siya Kolisi, locks Eben Etzebeth and Lood de Jager, flyhalves Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Handré Pollard, and scrumhalf Morné van den Berg are all expected to return for the Boks’ final Test before facing the All Blacks.

According to assistant coach Deon Davids, the priority is rebuilding the match fitness of these players ahead of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry against New Zealand. However, the Boks are fully focused on Los Pumas and securing another victory.

They expect a tough clash from a wounded Los Pumas side and know it will take a collective effort to come out on top.
