SBI Funds Management, the country’s largest mutual fund house, reported that its net profit in the June quarter was up four per cent at ₹880 crore against ₹849 crore logged in the same period last year.Revenue from operations increased 15 per cent to ₹1,153 crore (₹1,001 crore). Other income was down 28 per cent at ₹237 crore (₹327 crore).The average quarterly asset under management was up 11 per cent at ₹12.51 lakh crore (₹9.14 lakh crore). The average quarterly equity AUM increased 12 per cent to ₹5.90 lakh crore (₹5.24 lakh crore) while that of debt and liquid funds were up at ₹1.61 lakh crore (₹1.60 lakh crore) and ₹1.07 lakh crore (₹93,500 crore).Inflows through Systematic Investment Plan was up 14 per cent at ₹4,000 crore year-on-year. However on a sequential basis it was down two per cent.The SIP AUM increased 15 per cent at ₹2.06 lakh crore (₹1.79 lakh crore). Unique customers was up 12 per cent at at 1.82 crore.Passive quarterly average AUM increased 12 per cent y-on-y to ₹4 lakh crore. Alternate AUM (comprising AIF, PMS, Advisory and Offshore funds) stood at ₹16.5 lakh crore for the quarter ended June. The fund house has total reserves of ₹6,498 crore as of quarter-end.Shares of the company were down marginally at ₹588 a share on Monday.Published on August 3, 2026
