Former Shell executive Anna Mascolo has been named President of Northern & Central Europe and Global Offshore at Vestas, taking over from Nils de Baar as the wind energy company continues to capitalise on demand for cleaner power.
Anna joins Vestas from Shell, where she spent almost 20 years across two stints, sandwiched by a four-year period at Rolls-Royce SMR.
From 2021, she focused on low-carbon energy solutions and went on to become Shell’s Executive Vice President for Low Carbon Solutions in July 2023.
Anna will oversee Northern and Central Europe alongside the company’s global offshore business, two areas central to Europe’s push for secure and sustainable electricity supply.
