Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague opened up about daughter Bambi's 'traumatic' nursery visits and the 'massive hurdle' they're facing12:42, 03 Aug 2026Updated 12:42, 03 Aug 2026Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about the “massive hurdle” she is having with daughter Bambi after the youngster’s “traumatic” nursery visits.‌The Love Island star and amateur boxer Tommy Fury, both 27, welcomed their first child in January 2023, before adding to their brood with son Midas in June.‌In a new vlog on YouTube, the mum-of-two shed light on motherhood, revealing that the three-year-old had developed “major separation anxiety” over the last few months.‌Speaking to fans, she suggested that while her little brother’s arrival may have something to do with it, her feelings stem from her dad’s gruelling training schedule for his fight.‌She said: “I know a lot of you are going to straight away jump to being like, ‘It’s because she’s got a baby brother and there’s so many things that have changed in the house’. Maybe it’s contributed slightly, I do actually think it’s not to do with Midas … because it was going on before he was here.“I actually think part of the reason was when Tommy went into camp for his last fight, and she’s so, so addicted to her dad. She's so obsessed with him that him being away for camp quite a bit - I think that really was the turning point. I think she really, really struggled with that.“Nursery has become a massive, massive hurdle for us, that she’s really not enjoying anymore. In terms of when she’s actually there, she loves it but the drop off is so traumatic.‌“This is so weird, me even saying this, because she’s always been amazing with nursery, apart from at the very, very start when kids are - same as every other child when they start - they’re just getting used it. She used to cry at the door.“But now we’ve gone right back to the start and it’s so, so traumatic when we drop her off, we have to literally prize her off of us and pass her over to the teacher.“She talks about it all week, how she doesn’t want to go, she doesn’t want to go to any of her classes, she doesn’t want to go to tumble tots, she doesn’t really want to go to baby ballet, she just doesn’t want to do anything that is leaving the house. Even if she’s with me and Tommy [at] her classes, she’s just not really bothered.”‌Fans quickly flocked to the comments to share their support over Bambi’s struggles, praising Molly-Mae for her efforts so far.“For separation anxiety with Bambi, I see it as a testament to how close your bond is,” a fan said. “If anything its a massive compliment shows how safe Bambi feels with you [sic].”‌“You look like you’re doing great job super mum!
