Brooklyn Beckham risked a very awkward run-in with parents Victoria and David Beckham as they were spotted out and about in St Tropez just five minutes apart from their estranged son Brooklyn.Budding photographer, 27, has been seen living it up in the south of France with wife Nicola Peltz, 31, with the pair pictured on board godfather Sir Elton John’s yacht. However, it might not be the relaxing getaway they were expecting as his family are also in town. David and Victoria were seen in the luxury town yards away from their son, who they have not seen in person for over a year.In new snaps, the power couple were seen making their way into Cherry Restaurant for something to eat, while their eldest son was seen having a mooch around Jacquemus and treating himself to an ice cream at a nearby parlour.Brooklyn looked relaxed on the outing, opting for a white T-shirt and black shorts, while Nicola dressed up a little more in a white vest and mini skirt, adding some colour with metallic heels and a patterned bag. They were joined for the ice-cream run by Sir Elton’s husband, David Furnish, however, it is unclear whether they were aware of just how near the former footballer and Spice Girls icon - and his brother, Romeo - were to their trip.According to reports, the distance between their jaunts was just a five-minute walk, making this the closest the family may have physically been in months.Brooklyn has been locked in a bitter feud with his loved ones after slamming his parents in a scathing six-page statement in January, branding them “performative”.Discussing his wedding with Nicola, he fumed at the time: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone."He also alleged that they had tried "endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped".Neither David nor Victoria has responded to Brooklyn's allegations, but have made several attempts to extend an olive branch to the foodie - who has continued to ignore their public gestures. The mum-of-one previously touched on the drama in a candid interview with the Wall Street Journal, where she insisted: “We love our children so much. We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be."And you know, we've been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that's all I really want to say about it."Although she wasn't drawn on Brooklyn's statement, or where their relationship stood, she was questioned on whether she had any remorse over her family growing up in the spotlight, adding: "I wouldn’t say it comes with guilt, I’d say that there was a lot of adjusting from my mum and dad, when all of a sudden there were paparazzi outside their house. We’ve really taken our families on this ride with us."DJ Fat Tony, who was behind the decks at the now-infamous wedding, waded back into the drama just a few days ago, when he told The Times: “Before judging, people should remember that two parents have lost their first-born son and a son has lost his parents.“All families have dramas, but they just happen to be the Beckhams."Like this story?
