Instead of lightweight plastic, it has a sturdy, well-balanced design. It’s even got a little bit of heft to it. Not to mention, an ergonomic handle that’s comfortable to grip, even when you’re trying to reach awkward spots like your shoulder, upper back or triceps. It also comes with a compact zippered carrying case that keeps the roller, charging cable and instruction booklet neatly organized — and dust-free — between uses.Unlike a traditional massage roller, this one does much of the work for you. It features six free-spinning massage bars with 24 individual massage nodes that glide smoothly across sore muscles. Three adjustable speed settings and a reversible spin allow you to customize both the intensity and direction depending on what area you’re working on. At the core of the device is Chirp’s PowerTread Technology, which combines rolling massage with percussive therapy for a deeper massage. Battery life has also been impressive. A full charge lasts up to four hours, which translates to plenty of massage sessions before you need to plug it in again.Unlike some rollers that require you to lean your entire body weight into them, this mini unit delivers a deep tissue massage with very little effort.
