Charging providers Allego and Atlante have launched a cross-border partnership to reduce charging costs for drivers travelling south during the holiday season. Until 30 September 2026, subscribers to Allego’s Allego Plus tariff can access significantly discounted charging rates at Atlante stations in Italy, France and Spain. The subscription also offers reduced prices at Allego charging stations in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
To benefit from the discounted charging rates, customers must subscribe to the Allego Plus tariff, which is normally priced at €9.99 per month. Under a promotion launched at the end of June, new subscribers who sign up by 31 August 2026 can use Allego Plus free of charge for the first two months. The offer is intended to lower the barrier to entry for new customers.
The discounted rates at Atlante’s charging stations are available until the end of September 2026 and can be accessed through the filter function in the Allego app. However, Allego has not disclosed the resulting charging prices, stating only that the promotion offers discounts of 28 per cent in Italy, 30 per cent in France and 38 per cent in Spain.
IIn Germany, the discounted Allego Plus price is known. The tariff was recently reduced indefinitely from €0.49 to €0.39 per kWh. By comparison, app users without a subscription pay €0.59/kWh under the Allego Smart tariff, while ad-hoc customers paying directly at the charger are charged €0.76/kWh under the Allego Direct offering.
