A university in Belgorod where UAV systems were developed and a warehouse belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries in the Vladimir region caught fire following a drone attack overnight on Monday.
That is according to the Telegram channel Astra, Ukrinform reports.
A large fire broke out at Belgorod State Technological University (BSTU) following a Ukrainian attack overnight on August 3, as shown in footage posted by eyewitnesses.
According to Telegram channels, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were developed and tested at the university.
The university's official Telegram channel confirms that BSTU designed an automated UAV control system based on the Russian Milandr microprocessor. The university claimed that the development was intended for civilian use, including monitoring power transmission lines and heating networks, as well as aerial photography.
