Chinese automakers have reported their July sales and deliveries, with BYD ranking first among the companies included in the latest industry roundup after selling 419,211 vehicles. BYD’s overseas sales reached 179,841 units, up 124.3% from a year earlier.

Leapmotor reported 101,267 deliveries, up 102% year on year, marking its first month above the 100,000-unit threshold. Chery sold 276,820 vehicles and became the first Chinese automaker to report monthly exports above 200,000 units.

The figures are not a fully standardized industry ranking because automakers report sales and deliveries on different bases, and not all companies had released their July data. [IT Home, in Chinese]
