Police said vehicle-borne Kanwars taller than 13 feet are being stopped at entry points to ensure safety and smooth traffic during the Shravan Kanwar Yatra. The restrictions are necessary for the safety of both Kanwariyas and passers-by and also for the proper management of traffic and the pilgrimage.
