Tuide, a new girl group from HYBE, the K-pop powerhouse behind global superstars BTS, will make its debut later this month with its first EP, "Tune & Play," the group's agency said Monday.
The septet — comprising Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, SeahTeaser image for K-pop girl group Tuide, newly launched from HYBE label ABD / Captured from Tuide's Instagram and Yi Hani — is set to make its official debut on Aug. 24 under ABD, a new label under HYBE.
The group's name is derived from the phrase "Tune the Tide," reflecting its aspiration to harmonize diverse musical influences and create a unified sound, the label said.
The members, born between 2006 and 2011, come from varied cultural backgrounds, including Korea, the United States, Britain and Japan.
