Aug. 2 (UPI) -- The suspect in a deadly mass shooting at an Idaho burger restaurant died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said in an update issued Sunday.
The alleged shooter, identified as Chad Williams, 24, died by suicide following the Saturday afternoon incident at the In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, Police Chief Matthew Hicks said at a news conference.
Based on current information, three people died and seven others were injured in the shooting, two of whom remain in critical condition, the chief said.
None of their identities were immediately released.
