One of the three men charged in the Taumeasina Hideaway case allegedly punched a family member of the deceased victim outside the Mulinuu Courthouse on Monday morning.
The alleged assault sparked a fight outside the courthouse, with police intervening and taking one of the three accused men to the police station.
The three men are jointly charged over the death of 53-year-old Patronia Salele, of Moata'a, who died following an alleged assault at Taumeasina Hideaway during the early hours of Sunday, 5 July.
Salele, a United States citizen living in California, had been visiting Samoa for about a week and was due to return to the United States the following day.
