Talks Ongoing For Several Months The talks, which have been ongoing for several months, could soon result in a deal, though delays or a collapse remain possible, according to a report by the Financial Times on Sunday.
The merger would position AstraZeneca as the world's fourth-largest drugmaker by market capitalization.
AstraZeneca's market value stands at approximately $263 billion, while Bristol Myers Squibb is valued at around $133 billion.
