The ongoing annual convention at The Apostolic Church Nigeria National Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos, has continued to cause heavy traffic congestion along the Ogudu–Toll Gate corridor, with the backlog extending beyond the NNPC Filling Station to Iyana Oworo.
According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, the convention has attracted a large number of worshippers and pedestrians, resulting in increased vehicular activity around the church premises and slowing traffic around the area.
In a traffic update on Sunday, the agency said traffic was moving freely from Gbagada Bridge towards Car Wash and Ogudu despite the congestion around the church.
