The schedule changes on Aug. 1 came after heavy overnight rain soaked Chicago.

Day three of Lollapalooza 2026 was hit by severe flooding that delayed the festival schedule and pushed back performances from several artists.

Organizers announced on Saturday (Aug. 1) that the festival — held at Chicago’s Grant Park — would open at 3 p.m. CT instead of 12 p.m. CT due to the severe weather. As a result, most performances scheduled during the three-hour delay were canceled, with only a few exceptions.
