Kano-based TikTok star G-Fresh Al-Amin has tackled Kannywood actor Adam Zango following his divorce from his sixth wife, calling Mr Zango’s given reason for the split incomprehensible and ridiculous.
In a TikTok video alongside a woman believed to be his wife, Sadiya Haruna—who spoke from off-camera without showing her face, Mr Al-Amin stated that Mr Zango’s claim of a genotype mismatch shouldn’t have been aired on social media, adding that the excuse lacks credibility.
Mr Zango had confirmed his separation from Maimuna Musa, popularly known as Maimuna Pretty, in a social media post.
According to Mr Zango, they parted ways after discovering they both have the AS genotype.
He explained that the decision was made to avoid the risk of having children with sickle cell anaemia.
