Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, was forced to throw cash into a crowd and make a hasty exit after supporters overwhelmed him during a visit to Kayole.
In a viral video seen by TNX Africa, the lawmaker, who is eyeing the Nairobi senatorial seat, struggled to control a large crowd that had gathered for what appeared to be a political rally.
Dressed in a black sweatshirt, Jalang'o urged people to form an orderly queue so he could distribute cash.
However, despite some attempts to line up, the crowd continued pushing and jostling, making it impossible to maintain order.
