Two helicopters taking part in battling the big blaze west of Athens have collided, the Fire Service has announced.
“During a firefighting operation in the Psatha area, two helicopters participating in the firefighting operation collided. Forces were immediately mobilized for a search and rescue operation for the crews, which is currently underway,” the Fire Service said.
Multiple media have reported that the 2-pilot crew of one of the helicopters has been found.
