We were impressed with how suitable the Celestron Moon Mission 100mm Tabletop Dobsonian is for beginners and children, especially. Its intention is to whet the appetite of users, introducing children and beginners to the night sky and letting them get to grips with the basics before graduating to larger, more expensive and more complex telescopes. It won't be the only telescope you ever buy, but it succeeds in its aim of making the night sky easily accessible and affordable.
