Over the past 24 hours in the Sumy region, Russian forces killed one woman and wounded eight others; destruction and damage to private homes, non-residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure were reported.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
“As a result of enemy strikes in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, one person was killed and eight civilians were injured. Destruction and damage to private homes, non-residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure were also recorded. A 47-year-old woman who was injured on July 30 during an enemy attack on the Romny community died in the hospital,” the statement reads.
Over the past 24 hours, a 31-year-old woman was injured in the Sumy community as a result of a drone strike. In the Hlukhiv community, a 53-year-old man was wounded when an enemy drone struck.
A 57-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy were injured when an enemy UAV struck a house in the Yampil community.
