Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the security of maritime routes and ways to strengthen the protection of human lives.
According to Ukrinform, the information was released by the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky thanked the UAE President for his full understanding of the situation and for supporting efforts to achieve peace and greater security.
“Ukraine always helps those who help us. This year, Ukrainians have made a significant contribution to the security of our partners in the Gulf region. Now, we discussed how the UAE can help us in Europe, particularly in the Black Sea region. This concerns food security, the security of maritime routes, and expanding our ability to protect lives,” the President said.
