DBH Finance PLC, one of the country’s leading financial institutions with a prime focus on housing finance, has announced its financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2026.For the period, the company reported a net profit after tax of Tk 556.46 million, 32 percent higher than the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a press release.EPS for the half year stood at Tk 2.74, compared to Tk 2.07 for the same period last year. Net interest income grew by 44 percent, while operating income increased by 6.5 percent during the period.Net asset value per share stood at Tk 50.79 as on 30 June 2026. Non-performing loans (NPL) remained below 1 percent of the total portfolio, among the lowest in the industry. Notably, the company has maintained the highest credit rating, AAA, for 21 consecutive years.As of June 30, 2026, DBH’s loan portfolio stood at approximately Tk 44,616 million, while its deposit portfolio stood at approximately Tk 43,980 million.The company currently serves customers through 18 branches covering all divisional headquarters, providing financial assistance for home ownership through its conventional scheme as well as its Islamic Shariah-based Finance Wing (IFW), while also mobilising term and Mudaraba deposits from retail and corporate customers
