Kelly Osbourne's ex fiance Sid Wilson is said to have been 'kicked out' of his heavy metal band Slipknot just four months after he split from Ozzy Osbourne's daughter17:24, 01 Aug 2026Following the breakdown of his relationship with Kelly Osbourne, Sid Wilson has been kicked out of the iconic heavy metal group Slipknot, according to reports in the US.‌News of his untimely departure comes just four months after the couple called time on their relationship after popping the question in July last year.‌A source reportedly told US media outlet TMZ: "Sid was notified late Friday afternoon that he’s been permanently kicked out of the band." Sid experienced the heady heights of fame after joining the controversial band in 1999 as part of its nine original members.‌And he follows in the footsteps of other original members who have left the band including Craig Jones and Chris Fehn. Sid and Kelly ended their engagement in March this year just after the heart-breaking death of legendary heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne.‌At the time, Sid was seen on a bended knee as he opened up a box with an engagement ring inside while backstage at Ozzy's final gig Back To The Beginning.He said: "Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?" The couple share a three year old son together named Sidney.However, things took a turn for the worse for the couple. A source told the Daily Mail at the time of their split: "Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement. "‌They added: "The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she’s been doing everything she can to cope. In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared. "The pair first met in 1999 at Ozzfest which is a heavy metal music festival, set up by her mum Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy.Back in 2022, Kelly was the picture of happiness as she posted a sweet post on social media about the couple's relationship.Article continues belowOn Valentine's Day of that year, she said: "After 23 years of friendship, I can't believe where we have ended up.
