The Hyderabad Traffic Police on Saturday conducted a briefing session for personnel deployed for bandobust duties during the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu Jatara in Secunderabad, scheduled from August 2 to 4.Traffic personnel were instructed to ensure the smooth movement of devotees and commuters while maintaining public safety during the three-day festival. Officials emphasised strict implementation of planned traffic diversions to prevent congestion around the temple premises and surrounding areas.The personnel were also briefed on crowd management measures, regulation of vehicle parking at designated locations and the need for continuous coordination with Law and Order police and other government departments during the celebrations.Following the briefing, DCP Traffic-I Avinash Kumar, along with traffic inspectors, inspected the Jatara premises and nearby routes to review arrangements and issued operational instructions on the spot.The officers were directed to remain vigilant, assist devotees and commuters promptly, and perform their duties with dedication to ensure the peaceful conduct of the annual Bonalu celebrations.
