The 146th birth anniversary of Molahalli Shiva Rao, known as the father of the cooperative movement in undivided Dakshina Kannada district, will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. at the South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank head office auditorium.The programme will be jointly organised by the SCDCC Bank and the Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Union. Bank president M.N. Rajendra Kumar will preside. Karnataka State Cooperative Federation president G.T. Devegowda will release the Molahalli Shiva Rao reference book.
