Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil challenged Abhijeet Dipke to name BJP members who offered him party membership.PUNE: State cabinet minister and senior BJP member Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil on Friday challenged Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke to reveal the name of the person who offered him to join BJP and threatened him. After returning to his hometown Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar following the CJP protest in Delhi, Dipke claimed during a media interaction that he and his family members received threats after he refused the offer of joining BJP.Reacting to Dipke’s statement, Vikhe Patil said, “Instead of making ambiguous statements, Dipke should speak clearly and reveal the names of people who offered him to join our party and threatened him. He has led a successful agitation and the govt accepted the protesters’ demands. He should avoid making political statements.”Vikhe Patil also accused political parties of trying to take political mileage out of the CJP protest against the central govt. “Opposition parties are trying to find an opportunity to target the govt after the CJP protest and Dipke should not fall prey to the opposition’s trap,” he added.
