Mahindra & Mahindra on Saturday said its Farm Equipment Business sold 34,420 tractors in July 2026, registering a 20% year-on-year growth compared with 28,708 units sold in the same month last year.The company’s domestic tractor sales stood at 32,643 units in July 2026, up 21% from 26,990 units sold in July 2025.Exports during the month increased 3% year-on-year to 1,777 units, compared with 1,718 units in the corresponding period last year.Also read: Tractor industry's volume growth likely to moderate to 1-4% in FY27: IcraCommenting on the sales performance, Veejay Nakra, President, Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We have sold 32,643 tractors in the domestic market during July 2026 registering a growth of 21% over last year. Significant recovery in rainfall, improved reservoir levels, accelerated kharif sowing aided by Government support and healthy farm cashflows has led to positive rural & farmer sentiment.”The company said cumulative tractor sales during April-July 2026 stood at 1,92,461 units, an 18% increase over 1,62,797 units sold during the same period last year.Also Read: Alternate fuel penetration in Indian CV industry to touch 40-45% by FY30: ICRADomestic sales during the April-July period rose 19% year-on-year to 1,85,069 units, compared with 1,56,189 units a year ago. Exports during the period increased 12% to 7,392 units from 6,608 units.Mahindra said the recovery in rainfall, improved reservoir levels, stronger kharif sowing activity and government support measures contributed to improved rural sentiment and farmer demand.
