A fire broke out at the St Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow but was extinguished, TASS state news agency said early Saturday, quoting operational services. No injuries were reported, according to TASS. “On the first floor, in the director’s office, personal belongings and furniture caught fire. The area of the fire was around 10 sq. metres,” the agency’s source said. Around 10 fire engines were deployed to the scene, the agency said, noting operational services “later reported that the fire had been extinguished”.
