Eldorado Gold on Friday confirmed plans for first copper-gold concentrate production from its Skouries project in Halkidiki in the third quarter of 2026, with commercial production expected in the fourth quarter.

The company forecast gold production from Skouries in 2026 at 60,000-100,000 ounces and copper production at 20-40 million pounds. Eldorado said it had signed concentrate sales agreements with several buyers covering all expected 2026 volumes and part of 2027 output.

The company is also in final-stage negotiations with additional counterparties for agreements covering production through 2029. The commercial terms agreed are significantly better than those assumed in the 2022 feasibility study, reflecting favorable market conditions for copper-gold concentrates, the company said.
