Ihor Obolensky, commander of the “Khartiia” Rapid Deployment Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard, considers today’s assassination attempt against him to be proof of the effective elimination of Russian invaders on the battlefield.
He wrote about this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Terror is one of the Russians’ methods of waging war and a sign that they are failing to achieve their political goals through military means. Today’s assassination attempt is proof that we are doing everything right and effectively eliminating the enemy on the battlefield,” Obolensky noted.
He thanked everyone for their attention and concern, which, in his words, confirms that “our work is important to Ukrainians.”
He also expressed separate gratitude for the support of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the people of Ukraine.
