Russian forces dropped four guided aerial bombs on central Kherson around midday, injuring five people, according to preliminary information.

Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin announced the attack on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to Prokudin, the guided bombs struck residential neighborhoods in the city.

The attack caused significant damage to private homes and an educational institution.

Fires broke out at the impact sites, but emergency crews managed to extinguish all of them despite the threat of additional air strikes and drone attacks.
