A new chapter has begun at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as Ishaq Oloyede bows out after his tenure, paving the way for Segun Aina to assume office as the board’s new registrar.
Oloyede handed over the mantle of leadership to Aina on Friday, after successfully piloting the affairs of JAMB for 10 years.
Recall that Segun Aina, a professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, was appointed earlier in the year by President Bola Tinubu to succeed Oloyede as the new registrar of JAMB.
Aina’s appointment was announced in a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy.
The presidency emphasised that Aina’s choice stems from his expertise in digital infrastructure, national examination systems and institutional reforms.
