Anantapur district YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders on Friday (July 31, 2026) demanded a comprehensive enquiry into the alleged DSC-2025 recruitment process and immediate dismissal of Education Minister Nara Lokesh.Led by district party president Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, a delegation of party leaders met with Joint Collector Vishnu Charan and submitted documents and videos as evidence of alleged irregularities that occurred in the recruitment process.Later, addressing the media, Mr. Venkatarami Reddy said that securing a government job is the dream of the youth, but Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Mr. Lokesh have shattered that dream by conducting a fraudulent DSC recruitment drive under the guise of Mega DSC.“Eligible candidates were sidelined and jobs were given to ineligible ones,” he alleged. He said Mr. Lokesh, instead of accepting the facts and stepping down, is making empty challenges for a debate.The senior leader demanded immediate dismissal of Mr. Lokesh from the Cabinet and a CBI inquiry into the DSC recruitment process. Mr. Venkatarami Reddy said Dharmendra Pradhan resigned as the Union Education Minister taking responsibility for the irregularities in the NEET. Similarly, Mr. Lokesh must resign, accepting responsibility for the DSC irregularities in the State.He further alleged that since the NDA government assumed power, fee reimbursement arrears have accumulated to ₹9,500 crore and demanded immediate release of funds under the ‘Vidya Deevena’ and ‘Vasathi Deevena’ schemes.
