At least nine persons were killed when a building collapsed in Maharashtra’s Bhiwandi on Friday, ANI quoted National Disaster Response Force as saying.Several persons were feared trapped under the rubble of the four-storey structure. The cause of the collapse was not immediately clear. PTI reported that the building had been declared dangerous by the municipal body and the incident occurred when repair work was underway on the premises.Edited by Anamika Pathak and Tanya Shrivastava.
