How do the Pistons stack up against LeBron, Giannis and a new-look Eastern Conference?

Have the Detroit Pistons done enough to build on their 60-win regular season and second-round playoff exit?At this point, the answer is probably “not quite.” There’s still work to do to retain All-NBA center and restricted free agent Jalen Duren. But assuming he’s back in the fold, the Pistons should still be competitive in a revamped Eastern Conference that will feature more high-end talent than it has in recent years.After all the major moves (and in some cases, pending moves) across the conference over the past few weeks, here’s how I would rank the top 10 teams in the East, along with their current projected starting lineups and some way-too-early record predictions. These rankings weigh not only the offseason transactions but also chemistry and continuity from last season’s success:
